As the 2025 HYROX season kicks off in the UK this month, thousands of athletes are finishing their final training blocks ahead of a record 105 events taking place across the globe, which is a 30% increase from last year. Reflecting the incredible momentum behind the sport, Amazfit, the official timekeeping partner of HYROX, is stepping up its commitment with four new Elite athlete signings and enhanced training technology.

At the heart of Amazfit’s innovation is the introduction of a new HYROX Training Mode, now available on the Balance 2 and T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatches. Designed specifically for the demands of HYROX athletes, the new mode complements the existing Competition Format and Race Mode, giving users even more control over their preparation. Through the Zepp App, athletes can now import personalised training plans and track progress using interval techniques such as AMRAP, EMOM, and Tabata.
This new training mode was developed in close collaboration with HYROX athletes, including Hunter McIntyre, Elite 15 competitor and Amazfit ambassador, who played an instrumental role in shaping the feature based on his own high-level training needs.
“The products are great — they listen to me when I have input, and I get actionable insights that help drive my training,” said McIntyre. “We almost got it done last year in Chicago — this year, I’m here for the gold.”
This latest expansion of its athlete roster further reinforces Amazfit’s growing presence in the HYROX community. Rich Ryan (USA), Joanna Wietrzyk (Australia), Emilie Dahmen (Netherlands), and Linda Meier (Germany) each brings a unique story and competitive edge, embodying the inclusive, high-performance spirit that defines HYROX. Wietrzyk’s background in professional tennis means she has a competitive edge, whilst Dahmen, Meier and Wietrzyk are established HYROX athletes in their own right, completing 51 races between them. These athletes represent a growing global community united by challenge, discipline, and ambition, embodying Amazfit’s ethos in championing human potential.
“I hadn’t relied on a watch or performance data before, and reaching the HYROX Elite 15 without it was already a huge achievement,” said Dahmen. “Now, Amazfit gives me the tools to train smarter, recover better, and truly compete at the highest level.”
With the new season underway and competition fiercer than ever, Amazfit continues to support athletes at all levels, providing the insights, tools, and performance features needed to go from gym floor to finish line.
