Edgecore Networks has introduced its new EAP115 Wi-Fi 7 access point, built to deliver fast, stable, and reliable internet for modern indoor spaces. This new device is designed for places like apartments, hotels, dorm rooms, and shared offices where each room needs its own strong connection.
The EAP115 comes with a compact wall-plate design, so it can easily fit into a room without taking up space or looking bulky. It is made to give a smooth internet experience while also being simple to install.

This access point supports Wi-Fi 7 and works on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It offers speeds up to 3.6 Gbps, which is more than enough for daily use like streaming videos, online meetings, and cloud apps. Instead of just focusing on high speed, the device is built to keep the connection stable and consistent in real-life use.
One of the key highlights of the EAP115 Wi-Fi 7 is its support for IoT devices. It includes built-in Bluetooth Low Energy and Zigbee, which means it can connect and control smart devices like lights, sensors, and other smart room features. This helps reduce the need for extra devices and keeps everything simple.
The device also supports Matter, which is a new standard for smart home devices, and it may support Wi-Fi HaLow in the future. This makes it ready for upcoming smart technologies.
For installation, the EAP115 Wi-Fi 7 offers flexible options. It can be mounted on walls, ceilings, or used as a wall plate. Its hidden cable design helps keep the setup clean, which is useful for places like hotel rooms where appearance matters.
Another advantage is that it uses standard PoE power, so it does not need special power equipment. This helps reduce cost and makes it easier to install in large numbers.

On the management side, the EAP115 supports cloud platforms like ecCLOUD and OpenWiFi-based systems. It also includes features like remote setup, monitoring, and Zero Touch Provisioning, which allows devices to be set up quickly without manual work.
With this launch, Edgecore Networks aims to provide a simple, cost-effective, and future-ready solution for businesses and service providers who need reliable room-level connectivity.
