Resident Evil Requiem gave us two protagonists, but the internet has clearly picked its favourite, and it’s less about Leon’s combat skills and more about what’s underneath his shirt.
Leon’s Requiem glow-up has not gone unnoticed
Ever since Leon Kennedy was confirmed for Requiem at The Game Awards 2026, fans have been vocal about one thing in particular: the man has been hitting the gym. Hard. The Chris Redfield comparison basically wrote itself, and now unofficial merchandise is leaning fully into that energy.
Statue maker orzGK has released a line of Requiem figures centred on Leon, all featuring him tied to a chair, a nod to his scene alongside Victor Gideon in the game. The safer versions show Leon in his signature tight shirt and holster, and they’re already turning heads.

The Swimsuit Leon Kennedy merch variants are something else
The more revealing models strip Leon down to his boxers. That’s it. Both Leon Kennedy merch variants come in smaller and larger sizes, with the priciest option clocking in at around $300.
Capcom gets no mention anywhere on the product page, so this Leon Kennedy merch is almost certainly unofficial, very much in the same vein as that Tifa Lockhart statue that had the internet losing its mind a while back.

Whether you find it funny, impressive, or a bit much, one thing’s clear: Requiem’s Leon has made an impression well beyond the game itself.
