Shown off at Triple-I
The game turned up at the Triple-I Initiative Showcase 2026 with a meaty new trailer in tow, parkour, brutal combat, and a Fall 2026 release window stamped at the end. It’s coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Closer than you’d think
Following the showcase, One More Level went into more detail about where the game actually sits in development. The short version: it’s content complete, and the team is currently wrapping up its alpha. On Steam, the studio described the reveal as kicking off the final sprint to launch, so a concrete release date probably isn’t far behind.

They’re also planning more playtesting soon, having already worked on earlier feedback into the build.
Something nobody’s quite tried before
One More Level isn’t being shy about the ambition here. The studio has said outright that nobody has combined first-person perspective and soulslike design quite like this before, and that they know they’ll have to prove it works. After two Ghostrunner games, they’ve earned the benefit of the doubt.

Fall 2026 can’t come soon enough.
