GameSir launches powerful G7 Pro 8K PC Royal2 Edition controller for esports players

GameSir has officially opened pre-orders for the new G7 Pro 8K PC Royal2 Edition controller. Built for competitive PC gaming, the new controller focuses on speed, precision, and custom controls for esports players who want fast response times during gameplay.

The special Royal2 Edition is inspired by esports champion Royal2 and comes with a stylish black design covered in a galaxy-like pattern. The controller also includes a black charging dock with a gold crown logo in the centre. On the right grip, players will find Royal2’s gold signature, giving the controller a more premium and personal look.

The G7 Pro 8K PC Royal2 Edition supports an 8000 Hz polling rate in both wired and 2.4G wireless modes. This allows the controller to send inputs much faster, helping reduce delay and making gameplay feel smoother and more responsive.

GameSir has also equipped the controller with Gen-2 TMR sticks. These magnetic sticks are designed to prevent stick drift while also offering smoother movement and lower power use. According to the company, this helps players get more accurate control during competitive matches.

The controller features dual-mode trigger stops as well. Players can switch between Hall Effect analog triggers for smoother and more precise control, or micro switch triggers for faster click-like responses. This gives users more flexibility depending on the type of game they are playing.

For the face buttons, GameSir uses optical micro switches for the ABXY buttons to improve response speed and durability. The D-pad also uses mechanical micro switches to provide better directional feedback.

The G7 Pro 8K PC Royal2 Edition also comes with two lockable back buttons and two extra mini bumpers. All of them support up to 32-step macro recording, allowing players to create custom commands for quicker actions in games.

Another important feature is the built-in 6-axis gyroscope, which helps improve aiming and movement control in supported games. Users can also fully customise the controller through the GameSir Connect software, including button mapping, macros, and other settings.
