Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 roadmap has no new hero

Marvel Rivals Season 10
Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 roadmap has no new hero, but Infinity War, Endgame and a Halloween puzzle should keep you busy until Season 11 lands on November 13.

No new hero this time, and I’m oddly fine with that. NetEase has shared the full Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 roadmap, and the mid-season split leans on events rather than a fresh roster addition. Gorr the God Butcher stays as the headline act, so the spotlight is on everything built around him.

Marvel Rivals – Path to Doomsday mode trailer

Season 10.5 starts on October 9 and runs for five weeks. First up is Path to Doomsday: Infinity War, a limited-time mode where you and a partner fight other duos until one pair is left standing. The Infinity Stones are in play to tilt a fight your way, which sounds chaotic in the best way. Two more events follow, Infinity Finale and All Hallows’ Glow, with plenty of cosmetics to grind for as the game goes full spooky season.

The one I’m actually circling on the calendar is October 23. That’s when the Endgame stage of Path to Doomsday begins, with a 50-player PvE match against Thanos’ army. Fifty people against one army is either going to be glorious or a complete mess. Possibly both.

Halloween: Night of Illusions rounds things off on October 30. It’s teased as an interactive puzzle experience, and NetEase hasn’t said much else, so I’ll hold my excitement until there’s more to go on.

Then Comes Season 11

Season 11 arrives on November 13 and will be the last of the year. Plenty of fans expect Doctor Doom to be one of the new heroes, but that’s a rumour for now, not a confirmation. We’ll find out soon enough.

Until then, be busy dodging Infinity Stones.
