System76 has officially introduced the new Adder Pro laptop, a powerful machine designed for gamers, developers, and content creators. The latest model brings major upgrades over the previous Adder WS, including a lighter design, a stunning OLED display, and NVIDIA RTX 50 Series graphics.
The company says the Adder Pro is its most advanced laptop so far, combining high-end performance with premium visuals and a Linux-first experience.

At the heart of the Adder Pro laptop is the Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 graphics. Users can configure the system with up to 96GB of memory and up to 4TB of storage, making it suitable for demanding workloads and modern games.
One of the biggest highlights is the 16-inch 2K OLED display. The panel offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600, a 165Hz refresh rate, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. It also reaches up to 500 nits of brightness and supports over one billion colors, delivering rich visuals and deep contrast.

According to System76 founder and CEO Carl Richell, the company wanted to bring OLED technology to customers who need both performance and excellent color accuracy. He noted that modern games and creative applications require powerful hardware capable of handling advanced graphics and demanding workloads.
For gamers, the Adder Pro laptop offers fast performance thanks to RTX 50 Series graphics and a display with a peak response time of 1ms. The laptop also supports hybrid graphics, automatically switching between integrated and dedicated graphics to balance battery life and performance.

Developers may appreciate the lightweight design, which weighs only 3.37 pounds. The 16:10 screen ratio provides extra vertical workspace, while the powerful processor helps speed up compiling and development tasks. The system is also suitable for game development using engines such as Godot and Unity.
Content creators are another key target for the Adder Pro. The laptop is optimized for creative software including Blender, Krita, DaVinci Resolve, Kdenlive, and OBS Studio. Support for up to three external 4K displays allows users to create a workstation-like setup while maintaining portability.
The OLED panel further benefits creators with its 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, true black levels, and full DCI-P3 color coverage, making it ideal for photo editing, video production, and digital art.
The new System76 Adder Pro laptop is available now with a starting price of $2,499.
