iPhone 17 Still Looks Like a Great Buy Before iPhone 18 Arrives

iPhone 17 remains a strong choice

The iPhone 17 has been one of Apple’s most balanced standard iPhones in recent years. One of its biggest improvements was the addition of ProMotion, giving the regular model a smoother high-refresh-rate display without requiring buyers to choose a Pro version.

There is also the possibility of higher prices for future iPhones. Recent reports suggest Apple could increase prices on some upcoming models, while supply costs could also affect the prices of current phones.

Because of this, buying an iPhone 17 now could make sense, especially if you find it at a good price.

What could the iPhone 18 bring?

The iPhone 18 is expected to offer several hardware improvements, although they may not be dramatic.

The phone could use Apple’s new A20 chip, which is rumored to be built using a 2nm process. This should bring better performance and improved power efficiency. RAM could also increase to 12GB, giving the phone more room for demanding apps and future iOS features.
