Logitech appears to be preparing a new version of its popular gaming mouse, and the latest leak gives us a closer look at what could make the Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike different.
The leaked details reportedly show new internal hardware, a replaceable battery, improved tracking, and a few design changes. The mouse is also expected to arrive in new colors, including pink and black.
New hardware and replaceable battery
One of the biggest changes could be inside the mouse. According to the leak, Logitech is working on a custom NxLOGI MCU for the Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike.

The Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike is also said to use a replaceable battery. This could be an important change for European buyers, as new EU rules will require many electronic devices to offer easier battery replacement from 2027.
The leaked information claims that the US version will weigh around 59 grams, while the EMEA version could weigh 61 grams. The extra weight may be linked to the changes needed for the replaceable battery design.

Logitech is also reportedly targeting more than 135 hours of battery life.
Hero 2 sensor gets bigger numbers
The G Pro X3 Superstrike is expected to use an upgraded Hero 2 sensor. The leaked specifications point to up to 90 G of acceleration and tracking speeds of up to 930 IPS.
These numbers look impressive on paper, although most gamers are unlikely to notice a major difference from these figures alone. Modern gaming mice already offer more tracking performance than most players need.
The leak also suggests that Logitech is focusing on better balance, which could be more useful during real gaming sessions than simply increasing sensor numbers.
HITS system stays familiar
The mouse is not expected to receive a major change to Logitech’s HITS, or Haptic Inductive Trigger System.

The leaked information points to the same 10 actuation points and five Rapid Trigger settings found on the first-generation Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike.
The polling rate is also expected to remain at 8,000 Hz. There is little reason to expect a much higher rate soon, as USB and system limitations make higher polling rates harder to use in practice.
For now, Logitech has not officially confirmed the leaked specifications or announced the G Pro X3 Superstrike. If the information is accurate, however, the new model could bring useful improvements, especially the replaceable battery and updated internal hardware.
