AGON by AOC has expanded its G4 gaming monitor range with the launch of the AOC Q27G4ZRAD. The new 27-inch display is aimed at gamers who want a sharp QHD image while also getting the high refresh rates needed for fast and competitive games.
The AOC Q27G4ZRAD uses a Fast IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It offers 178-degree viewing angles and is designed to deliver strong colors across different types of content.

For gaming, the monitor has a native 240 Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 260 Hz. It also has a response time of up to 1 ms GtG and 0.3 ms MPRT. Adaptive-Sync support and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility are included to help keep gameplay smooth by reducing tearing and stuttering.
Bright picture and wide color range
The AOC Q27G4ZRAD reaches up to 400 cd/m² brightness and carries VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. This can provide brighter highlights and more visible detail in supported games and movies.
AOC rates the monitor at 123.6% sRGB coverage, 95.2% DCI-P3 coverage, and 91.4% Adobe RGB coverage. The screen also uses an anti-glare coating to cut down on reflections in brighter environments.
The monitor is not limited to PC gaming either. It has one DisplayPort 1.4 connection and two HDMI 2.0 ports. DisplayPort can handle the full 260 Hz refresh rate, while the HDMI connections support 1440p gaming at up to 120 Hz on compatible PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

AOC has also added built-in 2W x 2 stereo speakers and support for its G-Menu software, allowing users to adjust settings and gaming profiles from their PC.
The stand offers a good range of adjustment, including up to 130 mm of height movement, -3° to 21° tilt, -28° to +28° swivel, and -90° to +90° pivot rotation.
For longer sessions, Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue Mode are included to help make screen use more comfortable.
The AOC Q27G4ZRAD will be priced at £229 and comes with a three-year warranty. With its combination of QHD resolution, Fast IPS technology, and up to 260 Hz refresh rate, it is aimed at gamers who want high-speed performance without moving into a much more expensive monitor class.
