Hell Let Loose: Vietnam just got a brand-new gameplay trailer. It’s made the wait for this one even harder.
Expression Games and Team17 debuted the footage at the Galaxies Showcase, giving fans their most substantial look yet at what the Vietnam-era entry in the beloved tactical shooter franchise has to offer.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam – Beta Gameplay Trailer
Familiar, but entirely different
If you’ve played Hell Let Loose before, the core bones here will feel immediately recognisable. But the atmosphere is doing something else entirely. The dense jungle environments, the period-authentic arsenal, and yes, flamethrowers, all combine to make this feel like a genuinely fresh experience rather than a reskin.
It’s the kind of setting the first-person shooter genre doesn’t explore nearly enough, and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam looks set to do it justice.

50v50 chaos awaits
The game promises expansive 50v50 battles where teamwork and tactics remain front and centre, staying true to what made the original so compelling. New vehicles and weapons round out the package nicely.
No release date yet
There’s still no firm release date, despite earlier indications of a 2026 window. That said, playtests are kicking off in a few weeks, and fans can sign up for beta access and updates now.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is heading to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Series S/X.
