Anker has expanded its audio lineup with the launch of the new Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro and Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max wireless earbuds. The latest models focus on improving call quality and everyday convenience by combining advanced AI technology with smart charging cases.
At the heart of both earbuds is Anker’s new Thus AI chip. The company says the chip works alongside eight microphones and dual bone conduction sensors to make voices sound clearer during phone calls. The system is designed to reduce unwanted background sounds and help users communicate more easily in noisy places.

The new earbuds also support voice commands. Users can control different functions through voice instructions, with Anker claiming the system can react in less than a second.
Noise cancellation is another major upgrade. Both models use Adaptive ANC 4.0, a technology that constantly checks surrounding noise and automatically adjusts the level of noise reduction. Anker says this system can provide significantly better performance compared to the previous generation.
For music listening, the Liberty 5 Pro series includes HearID 5.0, which creates a custom sound profile based on the user’s hearing. An AI-powered audio enhancement feature is also included to improve sound quality during wireless playback.
Battery performance remains competitive. The earbuds can deliver up to 6.5 hours of use on a single charge with noise cancellation enabled. When combined with the charging case, total battery life reaches up to 28 hours.
The earbuds come with several modern connectivity features, including Bluetooth 6.1 support, multipoint pairing, Apple Find My, and Google Fast Pair. They also carry an IP55 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.

One of the standout features of the new range is the charging case. The standard Liberty 5 Pro features a small 0.96-inch touchscreen that allows quick access to controls and information. The premium Liberty 5 Pro Max takes things further with a larger 1.78-inch AMOLED touchscreen display.
The Pro Max model also introduces an AI Note-Taker tool. Through the Soundcore app, users can generate meeting summaries, identify speakers, and review important action points after discussions. This feature is not available on the standard version.
Anker has also added AI translation support. While both earbuds offer translation features, the Pro Max allows users to access translations directly through both the earbuds and the smart case.
Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro price
The Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro is now available for $170 and comes in black, blue, pink, and white colour options. The higher-end Liberty 5 Pro Max is priced at $230 and is offered in black and gold.
