Ubisoft can’t seem to keep a secret. Just hours after announcing the official reveal of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, footage from the upcoming trailer has already found its way online.
Black Flag Resynced leak
A user going by @intercelluar on X shared an 11-second clip alongside several screenshots from what appears to be the reveal trailer. The footage was quickly picked up by r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, and it didn’t take long to spread from there.
The clip shows a series of cutscene moments building up to a naval battle, enemy ships being spotted, cannons being loaded, Edward at the helm, and cannonballs flying between vessels. It’s short, but it gives a solid first look at what Ubisoft has been cooking.
Visuals are looking sharp
The leaked footage does make one thing clear: Black Flag Resynced is shaping up to look seriously impressive. Detailed character models, realistic textures, and some flashy explosions are all on display. The leaker also posted a screenshot suggesting the full reveal trailer runs at 1 minute and 8 seconds.
Worth noting, nothing shown so far is actual gameplay. Every scene in the leak appears to be cutscene footage, so how the game plays remains to be seen.

With the official reveal still on the way later this week, fans won’t have to wait long for the full picture. Whether Ubisoft has any surprises left after all this is another question entirely.
