Capcom’s mobile Monster Hunter has been so quiet that I’d half assumed it got cancelled. Nope. The Monster Hunter Outlanders release date is October 29, 2026, and it’s mobile only.
TiMi Studio Group is developing Monster Hunter Outlanders with Capcom’s blessing. That’s a decent sign. TiMi handled CoD Mobile and Pokémon Unite, so this isn’t a studio fumbling its first phone game. Capcom has probably stayed hands-off beyond licensing the name, which is standard for this sort of deal.
The adventure takes place on Aesoland, and you should expect live-service updates rather than a one-and-done release. Players in mainland China will have to wait, as that version is only scheduled for 2027 onwards.

Pre-registration is open now if you want in early.
Hunting giant monsters on a touchscreen. Sure, why not.
