Ayaneo has introduced a new retro-themed handheld and shared fresh details about several upcoming gaming devices during its latest product presentation.
The company officially revealed the AIR Mini IGS Limited Edition, a special version of its Pocket AIR Mini created in partnership with IGS and Arcade Home. The new handheld is designed for fans of classic arcade gaming and comes with officially licensed retro titles already installed.

The AIR Mini IGS Limited Edition features a compact 4.2-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, making it suitable for older arcade games. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T processor and includes Hall-effect joysticks and triggers for improved durability and accuracy. The handheld also packs a 4,500mAh battery and runs on Ayaneo’s software platform.
One of the biggest highlights of Air Mini is the inclusion of licensed IGS arcade games such as Knights of Valour and Oriental Legend. A built-in emulator is also included, allowing users to enjoy classic gaming experiences straight out of the box.
Ayaneo will offer the Air Mini device in two versions. The 2GB RAM and 32GB storage model is priced at $129.99, while the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage version will cost $139.99.
The company also shared an early look at the Pocket Block, a new Android-powered handheld being developed under its Konkr sub-brand. The device features a vertical design inspired by classic handheld gaming systems and is expected to include AI-focused features alongside modern gaming capabilities.

Ayaneo also provided an update on the highly anticipated Next 2 handheld. According to the company, development is progressing as planned. Earlier this year, Ayaneo paused preorders due to rising production costs, but it recently confirmed that shipments are still expected to begin in June.
The Next 2 is expected to feature the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 platform, a large 9.06-inch OLED display, dual-fan cooling, and a massive 116.1Wh battery. Ayaneo noted that while current orders remain on schedule, it cannot yet guarantee additional production for new customers. Interested buyers can contact the company to register their preferred configuration and colour option.

Another device moving forward in development is the Pocket Play. This hybrid Android handheld combines smartphone-style design with dedicated gaming controls. It is expected to feature a 6.8-inch high-refresh-rate OLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor, dual touchpads, and a sliding control system designed for both mobile and handheld gaming.

With a mix of retro-inspired products and powerful next-generation handhelds, Ayaneo continues to expand its gaming portfolio and target a wide range of players.
