EPOS has updated its EPOS IMPACT 1000 headset series with improved voice pickup, AI support, adaptive ANC and streamlined models.

EPOS has announced an updated version of its EPOS IMPACT 1000 headset series, bringing new improvements aimed at modern professionals who rely on clear communication throughout the workday. The company says the refreshed lineup is designed to deliver better voice quality, reduce listening fatigue, and work more effectively with AI-powered tools.

The EPOS IMPACT 1000 series is built around EPOS BrainAdapt technology, which focuses on helping users stay comfortable and focused during long meetings and calls. According to EPOS, the headset can achieve a word recognition accuracy rate of more than 99 percent, helping voice assistants and AI tools understand commands more accurately.

One of the biggest highlights of the updated headset is its advanced voice pickup system. Powered by EPOS AI, the technology uses machine learning to analyse the surrounding environment thousands of times every second. It can reduce unwanted background noise while making the user’s voice clearer, helping conversations remain easy to understand even in busy office environments.

EPOS says the IMPACT 1000 has already built a strong reputation since its original launch three years ago. The company believes the headset continues to stand out thanks to its focus on speech clarity and reliable communication performance.

Søren Holm Printz, Vice President of Strategy and Product Management at EPOS, said the headset has consistently shown strong results in independent testing and remains a leading choice for professionals who need dependable voice quality. He added that as AI becomes a larger part of everyday work, clear and accurate voice input is becoming more important than ever.

The EPOS IMPACT 1000 headset also includes Hybrid Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation technology. Instead of simply blocking noise, the system adjusts automatically to changing surroundings and helps create a quieter workspace. This allows users to stay focused even in open offices and other noisy environments.

Another important addition is future support for native Bluetooth connectivity with Microsoft Teams and Zoom through a planned software update. This will allow users to connect without relying on a separate USB dongle, making the experience simpler and more flexible.

EPOS has also simplified the product lineup. The company has reduced the number of available variants from ten to five, making it easier for buyers to choose the model that best matches their needs.

The updated IMPACT 1000 headset series is available from June 9, 2026. Pricing starts at €329, $405, and £499 depending on the region.
