ARC Raiders went quiet after ditching monthly updates back in May, and now we know why. Embark’s been saving it all up for Frozen Trail, and it’s arriving October 8.
The big draw is a new map: a frozen settlement squeezed between mountains at the edge of the Rust Belt, built with more verticality than anything currently in the game. New terrain, naturally, means new things trying to kill you, from small nuisances up to what Embark describes as an “enormous machine that will halt you in your tracks.” I’d start planning my extraction route now.

There’s also a proper new ARC Operation for players after a real test, one Embark says leans on tough calls and encounters that actually need teamwork, not just good aim.
Progression gets a rework too, centred on the Outpost, a new space for your raider that Embark’s pitching as the first step toward reclaiming the surface. The Skill Tree and Raider Decks are both getting touched up alongside it.

Weapons, gadgets, cosmetics, and more are still to be confirmed, with full details due in September. Two updates a year was a gamble. If Arc Raiders Frozen Trail delivers on this, it might just pay off.
