We’ll finally get a proper look at ARC Raiders‘ Frozen Trail on September 23, and Embark’s teaser has already flagged a new ARC enemy big enough to matter. The update itself launches October 8.
Timing wise, the reveal is set for 10 am PDT, 1 pm EDT, and 7 pm CEST.
Embark dropped its monthly update schedule back in May for a slower, bigger-swing approach, aiming for roughly two major updates a year instead. Frozen Trail is the first real output of that shift, and it’s bringing a new map built around more verticality, which for an extraction shooter is exactly the kind of change that changes how people actually play, not just what they’re fighting.
Arc Raiders expeditions could be gone for good
The other part worth watching is Expeditions. Executive producer Aleksander Grøndal has already said scrapping the mode entirely is “on the table,” which is a big thing for a studio to admit about its own game. Either way, the fifth Expedition is the last one coming until at least early 2027.

I’d bet the September 23 reveal addresses that directly, because leaving it hanging after a comment like that isn’t really an option.
