Teclast has introduced the Teclast V16Q Portable Monitor, a 16-inch display designed for users who need extra screen space while working or gaming away from home. It combines a sharp 2.5K resolution with a high refresh rate, making it a useful option for laptop users, gamers, and people who travel frequently.
The Teclast V16Q Portable Monitor features a 2560 × 1600 IPS panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Its higher resolution provides more room for documents, websites, and multiple windows, while the fast refresh rate helps make movement look smoother during gaming and everyday use.
The display also covers 100% of the sRGB color space and supports 10-bit color and HDR10. Teclast lists a peak brightness of 490 nits and color accuracy of ΔE < 2, making the screen suitable for office tasks, media playback, and basic creative work.
High Refresh Rate and Flexible Connectivity
One of the main features of the V16Q is its support for high refresh rates. It can reach 144Hz through USB-C and up to 130Hz through Mini HDMI. FreeSync support is also included to help reduce screen tearing during compatible gaming sessions.
For connectivity, the monitor offers two full-featured USB-C ports, a Mini HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It can connect to compatible laptops, mini PCs, smartphones, and gaming consoles.
A USB-C connection can carry both video and power through a single cable, provided the connected device supports video output and supplies enough power. Users connecting through Mini HDMI will need to provide power separately through USB-C.
Slim Design for Work and Entertainment
The Teclast V16Q has a slim body measuring just 9.5mm thick. It includes a built-in adjustable stand, dual speakers, and support for 75 × 75mm VESA mounting, giving users several ways to position the screen.
Its portable design makes it suitable for extending a laptop workspace, setting up a second screen while travelling, or connecting a compatible console for gaming.
