The BAFTA Game Awards returned to London on 17th April 2026, and it was a big night for several standout titles, none more so than Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which took home multiple awards, including Best Game and Debut Game.

A handful of games dominated the evening across major categories. Here’s who came out on top:

  • Dispatch – Animation, Audio Achievement
  • ARC Raiders – Multiplayer
  • Ghost of Yotei – Music, Technical Achievement
  • Atomfall – British Game
  • No Man’s Sky – Evolving Game
  • Blue Prince – Game Design
  • Despelote – Game Beyond Entertainment
  • South of Midnight – New IP
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance II – Narrative
  • LEGO Party! – Family
  • Ilkka Pannanen – Fellowship

Performances and Special Honours

Jennifer English won Performer in a Leading Role for her work in Expedition 33, while Jeffrey Wright took Supporting honours for his role in Dispatch. Supercell founder Ilkka Pannanen received the prestigious Fellowship award.

It was a well-rounded night. Expedition 33 may have led the charge, but the spread of winners showed BAFTA’s continued willingness to celebrate games across all shapes and sizes.
