Samsung is expanding its latest laptop family with a new model aimed at people who want a capable everyday PC without moving into the higher price range. The new Samsung Galaxy Book6 is a 14-inch laptop that starts at $799 and focuses on battery life, portability, AI features, and easy connections with other Galaxy devices.
The new laptop is positioned as a more accessible addition to the Galaxy Book6 lineup. Samsung says it is built for common tasks such as web browsing, document work, video calls, streaming, and everyday multitasking.

Samsung Galaxy Book6 Offers Up to 25 Hours of Battery Life
Battery life is one of the main highlights of the Galaxy Book6. Samsung rates the laptop for up to 25 hours of use on a single charge, giving users more freedom to work or study without staying close to a power outlet.

When the battery does run low, the laptop supports 45W fast charging. Samsung says it can reach around 33% charge in 30 minutes.
The laptop uses an Intel Core Series processor aimed at delivering enough performance for everyday computing while also keeping power use under control. The processor supports Galaxy AI and other AI-powered features available on the laptop.
A Slim and Lightweight 14 Inch Laptop
Samsung has carried the visual style of the Galaxy Book6 family over to this more affordable model. The Galaxy Book6 uses clean lines and a simple symmetrical design, with the Samsung logo placed in the center.

The laptop measures just 15.7 mm thick and weighs 1.35 kg, making it relatively easy to carry between home, school, the office, or while traveling.
Samsung is also introducing Violet Silver to the Galaxy Book lineup with this model. Users can also choose a more traditional Gray finish.
Its 16:10 display provides extra vertical space compared with a typical 16:9 screen. That can be useful when working with documents, browsing websites, or keeping multiple windows open. An anti-reflective coating is also included to help reduce glare.
Plenty of Ports Without Extra Dongles
The Galaxy Book6 keeps a useful selection of physical connections, which should appeal to users who do not want to depend on adapters.
There are two USB Type-C ports with the same functionality, along with USB Type-A, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. This gives users several ways to connect accessories, external displays, and other devices.
Galaxy AI Features Add More Useful Tools
Samsung is also bringing several AI-based tools to the Galaxy Book6.
AI Select allows users to highlight content on the screen and quickly access related information. It can be useful when browsing websites, looking at products, or researching something online.
The laptop also includes AI Cut Out, which can remove backgrounds from images. This could be handy when preparing product images, presentations, or simple marketing material.
For people who take a lot of notes, Note Assist can summarize information and highlight important points, making it easier to review longer notes.
Galaxy Book6 Works With Other Galaxy Devices
One of the bigger advantages of the Galaxy Book6 is its connection with Samsung’s wider device ecosystem.
Quick Share allows compatible Galaxy devices to exchange files quickly, while Storage Share provides access to supported photos, videos, and files across compatible Galaxy smartphones and Galaxy Book devices.
Samsung also includes Multi Control, which lets users control supported Galaxy devices using the same keyboard and mouse. A compatible Galaxy Tab can be used as an extra monitor through Second Screen.
Other features include Nearby Devices for easier device discovery and connection, while Link to Windows brings supported Galaxy smartphone functions to the PC.
For people already using several Galaxy products, these features could make the Galaxy Book6 more convenient than a standalone Windows laptop.
Galaxy Book6 Starts at $799
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 starts at $799 and will be offered with either 8 GB or 16 GB of memory. Storage options include 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB SSDs.
Samsung says the laptop is launching in select markets, with additional regions expected later. Exact specifications, colors, features, and supported Galaxy experiences can differ depending on the market.
At $799, the Galaxy Book6 gives Samsung a more affordable entry point into its latest laptop family while keeping some of the design, battery, AI, and ecosystem features found across the range.
