Loki fans, look away now, because Marvel Rivals just confirmed why he vanished from character select, and the answer isn’t pretty.
NetEase has dropped the Marvel Rivals Season 10 trailer, and it’s exactly the kind of spectacle the game’s built its reputation on over the last two years. The big reveal: Gorr, the God Butcher, is joining the roster, and he’s bringing his Necrosword and a grudge against every deity in the universe with him.

Gorr’s Mission: Wipe Out The Gods
The official trailer description makes his goal pretty clear. After going after the false gods of Thebes, Gorr sets his sights on Yggsgard, aiming to build a God Bomb and take out anything divine standing in his way. The King of Yggsgard isn’t backing down, though, so expect a proper clash when Season 10 lands.
Marvel Rivals Season 10 officially kicks off on September 11, so you won’t be waiting long to get your hands on him. Given how Marvel Rivals has handled its roster additions so far, I’d bet Gorr slots in as a nasty duelist pick, though NetEase hasn’t confirmed his kit yet.
Either way, the gods of Yggsgard picked a bad week to exist.
