A free PlayStation Store is now apparently a thing, and I don’t trust it one bit.
Overdrive is a new app for jailbroken PS5 consoles. A clip posted on October 11 shows a store that looks like the real one, but with download sizes and review scores instead of prices. Battlefield 6 and Forza Horizon 5 are reportedly in the library.
We don’t know who made it, where the files come from, or if it works as well as the video suggests. One Redditor called it “very poorly made.”

Overdrive isn’t alone. Orbit Store, an open-source beta, links to 147 games on Archive.org. Both arrived after the Relapse jailbreak, which covers firmware 7.00 through 13.60. Sony has since released firmware 14.00 and 14.10, and there is no official way to downgrade.
Stay away from it. Jailbreaking can get you banned, and unknown apps can bring malware or brick your console. Downloading paid games this way is also piracy.
Sony hasn’t commented, but I expect another update to kill Overdrive soon.
