Bad news if you’d already pencilled in August 6 for some new fight stick action. PlayStation has pushed back the launch of its FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick, and there’s no new date on the calendar.
What PlayStation said about FlexStrike Fight Stick
The update came via an updated PlayStation Blog post, where the company blamed “unexpected production delays” and said the stick “will launch at a later date.” No new timeline was given, so fans are stuck waiting.
PlayStation added: “We’re working to ensure we deliver the best possible experience to our players with FlexStrike, so we’re taking extra time to put the finishing touches on the product.”

Pre-orders opened back on June 12, and anyone who’s already put money down doesn’t need to panic. PlayStation says order status can be checked through PlayStation Direct, and buyers will get updates directly.
Still, an open-ended “later date” isn’t exactly reassuring for anyone counting down to release day.
