UPERFECT UD14BQ features a 14-inch 2.5K QLED display, EMR pen with 16,384 pressure levels, and a slim design for digital artists.

UPERFECT has introduced the Uperfect UD14BQ, a 14-inch portable pen display designed for digital artists, graphic designers, and other creative users. The monitor combines a 2.5K QLED screen with an EMR digital pen, offering a compact setup for drawing, illustration, photo editing, and design work.

The UPERFECT UD14BQ is available for pre-order at an early-bird price of $499.99, compared with its listed regular price of $529.99. The display features a 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 16:10 aspect ratio.

UPERFECT UD14BQ Features a High-Resolution QLED Panel

The display offers wide colour coverage, with UPERFECT listing 137.9% sRGB, 102.2% Adobe RGB, and 101.7% DCI-P3 coverage. It also has an 8-bit panel capable of displaying 16.7 million colours, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, and 210 nits of brightness.

The screen uses full lamination to reduce the gap between the pen tip and the displayed image. This design aims to provide a more natural drawing experience by helping users place strokes more accurately.

The included M5 digital pen uses electromagnetic resonance (EMR) technology and supports 16,384 pressure levels. It also offers up to 60 degrees of tilt support and a 3-gram initial activation force. These features are designed to give artists better control over line thickness and drawing strokes.

The UD14BQ is compatible with creative applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Clip Studio Paint, making it suitable for digital illustration, graphic design, and photo editing.

Slim Design and USB-C Connectivity

UPERFECT has designed the UD14BQ for users who need a portable creative workspace. The display measures just 6.9mm thick and weighs approximately 0.9kg, making it easier to carry between different workspaces.

Other features include an adjustable built-in stand, integrated speakers, and a low blue light mode. The monitor has two USB-C ports, including one that supports video and power and another intended for power. Desktop users can also use the included 3-in-1 cable.

However, the display does not include a built-in battery, so it requires an external power source. Its 60Hz refresh rate and 210-nit brightness also make it more focused on creative work than gaming or use in very bright environments.

Price and Availability

The UPERFECT UD14BQ is listed for pre-order at $499.99, with the regular price set at $529.99. The company advertises free worldwide delivery, a two-year warranty, and a 60-day risk-free trial.

The package includes the 14-inch display, an M5 digital pen, a pen holder, a 30W USB-C power adapter, USB-C cables, a 3-in-1 cable for desktop connections, and a user manual.

With its 2.5K QLED panel, pressure-sensitive pen, and lightweight design, the UPERFECT UD14BQ offers a portable option for artists and designers looking for a dedicated drawing display.
