Game Freak stepping away from Pokémon for a souls-like RPG was already a headline in itself; now the pre-order details are here.
Reliable insider Billbil-kun took to X to reveal that Beast of Reincarnation pre-orders should kick off today, April 16. The standard edition is priced at $59.99, with the deluxe bumping up to $69.99. Anyone who pre-orders will receive the Brown Shiba Skin for Koo and 30,000 Amber, the game’s in-game currency.
Beast of Reincarnation Deluxe Edition
The deluxe edition packs in considerably more. According to the insider, players can expect the Black & Brown Shiba Skins for Koo, the “Oni’s Hat” cosmetic for Emma, Emma’s sword “Big Dipper”, 100,000 Amber, and several vegetable seedlings. It’s an eclectic bundle, but in keeping with the game’s unusual setting.

Physical copies and platform differences
There is one catch worth noting. Physical copies are available for PS5 in both standard and deluxe editions, but Xbox players only have access to a physical standard edition. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing before you commit.
Beast of Reincarnation follows Emma, an outcast afflicted by blight, and her companion dog Koo through a post-apocalyptic Japan. The game is still on track for its August release window.
