Marvel Rivals is about to get a whole lot more chaotic, and it’s all thanks to one infamous thief. Season 7.5 arrives on 17 April 2026, bringing Felicia Hardy, better known as Black Cat, into the roster as the game’s newest Duelist hero.
Marvel Rivals – Black Cat character reveal trailer
A moveset that borrows from the best
What makes Black Cat stand out isn’t just her agility, though she’s clearly built for players who love bouncing around the battlefield. She can scale buildings, pounce on enemies, and unleash rapid claw combos with ease. What really turns heads is how her kit pulls abilities from other heroes in the roster.
Doctor Strange’s portals, Gambit’s explosive cards, and Ms. Fantastic’s invisibility are all part of her toolkit in some form. It’s an unusual design choice, and one that could make her either incredibly fun or incredibly frustrating to play against, possibly both.

Who is Felicia Hardy in this universe?
In Marvel Rivals‘ lore, Black Cat was brought in by Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, to steal the Tablet of Life and Time from Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum. Naturally, she had other plans and double-crossed him to free his captives instead. It’s a classic Black Cat story, and a solid setup for her arrival.

More to look forward to in Season 7.5
Black Cat isn’t the only new addition dropping on the 17th. Season 7.5 also introduces a PvE mode called Blood Hunt and an Infinity Saga-themed event, giving players plenty to sink their teeth into.

It’s shaping up to be a busy patch.
