Cabletime ScreenDock Brings a Handy Extra Screen to Your Desk

Cabletime ScreenDock is a new USB-C docking station that combines extra connectivity with a small built-in display. The device comes with a 5.5-inch 720p screen and is designed for people who often run out of space on their main monitor.

The display has an adjustable viewing angle and three brightness levels. Users can also change its orientation, scaling, and display arrangement through their computer.

There is one important thing to understand about the ScreenDock. It is not a standalone smart display. It does not have its own operating system, Wi-Fi, built-in apps, or touch controls. The content shown on its screen comes from the connected computer. Users control it with their normal mouse, keyboard, or trackpad, just like an additional monitor. Cabletime also requires users to install the supplied USB display driver before using the integrated screen.
