Marshall has introduced the new Marshall Bromley 150, a portable speaker designed for people who want strong sound without keeping the speaker plugged into a wall. The new model combines Marshall’s familiar design with 360-degree audio, built-in lighting, and a battery that users can replace.

The Marshall Bromley 150 uses Marshall’s True Stereophonic technology to spread sound around the speaker. The company says this design helps deliver balanced mids, clear highs, and deep bass across a wider area, so listeners do not have to stand directly in front of the speaker to enjoy the sound.

The speaker also gets built-in stage lighting behind the front grille. The lights move along with the music and are inspired by the lighting used at live performances.

Long battery life with a replaceable design

One of the main features of the Marshall Bromley 150 is its battery. Marshall says the speaker can provide more than 40 hours of playback, while the battery itself can be replaced by the user.

This makes the speaker more practical for long-term use. Instead of replacing the entire unit when the battery eventually wears out, users can replace the battery and continue using the speaker.

Marshall has also made several other parts replaceable, including the corner caps, handle, front grille, control knobs, and battery cover. A silicone cover protects the battery and input area when the speaker is being carried around.

The Bromley 150 has an IP55 rating, giving it protection against dust and water splashes. It also includes a carry handle, making it easier to move from one place to another.

Built for music, karaoke and live sessions

Marshall has added dedicated microphone and instrument inputs to the Bromley 150. This allows users to connect a microphone or instrument directly to the speaker, making it suitable for karaoke, small performances, or casual music sessions.

The speaker keeps the physical controls that are common on Marshall’s larger models, but the control panel has been moved to the side. This leaves more space on the front for the speaker grille and lighting system.

The cabinet uses FSC 100-certified wood and is covered with PU leather. TPU corner caps add extra protection while keeping the classic Marshall look.

The Marshall Bromley 150 is priced at $499.99 in the US. With its long battery life, replaceable parts, 360-degree sound, and built-in lighting, it is aimed at users who want a portable speaker that can handle both everyday listening and larger social gatherings.
