Corsair has upgraded its Sabre V3 Pro gaming mouse range with six new models featuring lighter designs, premium materials, and a new aiming technology developed with Aimlabs. The new Corsair Sabre V3 Pro PureVector series aims to help gamers improve mouse control by adjusting DPI settings to match their individual aiming styles.
The biggest change is PureVector, a new technology designed to improve aiming accuracy and reduce the time needed to correct mouse movements. Corsair claims that the system can reduce aiming and correction time by up to 33%, making it an interesting option for players who want more control in competitive games.

Corsair Sabre V3 Pro PureVector Offers Custom Aiming
The new PureVector technology works with Aimlabs, an aim-training platform used by gamers to improve their skills. Players complete a calibration process in Aimlabs while the software studies their mouse movements and identifies areas where their aim could improve.

Using this information, PureVector creates a custom directional DPI profile based on how each player moves the mouse. The settings are then saved to the mouse firmware, allowing the sensor to adjust its sensitivity according to the player’s movement patterns.
This approach gives gamers another way to personalize their mouse settings without relying only on a single DPI value. However, the actual improvement will depend on each player’s aiming habits and how well the custom settings suit their play style.
Six Models With Three Different Materials
Corsair is offering the Sabre V3 Pro PureVector range in two shapes and three shell materials. Buyers can choose between a symmetrical design based on the earlier Sabre V2 Pro and a new ergonomic shape designed for right-handed users.

The symmetrical version measures 122.9 x 64.1 x 38.8 mm, while the ergonomic model measures 125 x 67.5 x 44 mm.
The three material options are ABS plastic, carbon fiber, and magnesium. The standard Ultralight model costs $179.99, the carbon fiber version is priced at $229.99, and the magnesium model costs $199.99. The magnesium versions also feature cutouts in the upper shell to help reduce weight.
Weight varies by model, starting at just 37 grams for the standard symmetrical version. The ergonomic ABS model weighs 41 grams, while the magnesium versions weigh 49 grams and 55 grams for the symmetrical and ergonomic designs, respectively. The carbon fiber models weigh 48 grams and 54 grams.
High-End Sensor and 8,000 Hz Polling Rate
All six Corsair Sabre V3 Pro PureVector gaming mice share the same internal hardware. They feature the Corsair Marksman X optical sensor, offering up to 42,000 DPI sensitivity, tracking speeds of 800 IPS, and acceleration support of 70 G.

The mice also support an 8,000 Hz polling rate in both wired and 2.4 GHz wireless modes. This allows them to report movement to a connected system more frequently than standard 1,000 Hz mice, although the benefits can vary depending on the game and hardware.

Corsair claims up to 200 hours of battery life at a 1,000 Hz polling rate. At 8,000 Hz, battery life drops to a claimed 31 hours. Both main buttons use Corsair-tuned optical switches, and users can adjust settings through Corsair Web Hub, a browser-based customization tool.
With six versions to choose from, the Corsair Sabre V3 Pro PureVector series combines lightweight construction, high polling rates, and personalized aiming features. Its main selling point is the new PureVector system, which could appeal to competitive players looking for a more tailored mouse experience.
