Marvel’s Wolverine was the best-selling game in the US in September 2026, despite mixed reviews at launch.
Industry analyst Mat Piscatella shared the data on Bluesky, covering August 30 to October 3. The game took first place from NBA 2K27, which now sits in second. Madden NFL 27 held second place before this, but has dropped to 10th.
Marvel’s Wolverine is now the 11th best-selling game of 2026 so far. It also had the highest launch month dollar sales for a full game from a Sony-published title since Helldivers 2 in February 2024.
