Boulies launches the EP600 ergonomic chair with 4D adaptive lumbar support, 6D armrests, an adjustable footrest, and UK and US pricing.

Boulies has launched the EP600 ergonomic chair, a new ergonomic chair designed to provide adjustable support for people who spend long hours working at a desk. The chair introduces a 4D adaptive lumbar support system alongside multiple adjustment options for the backrest, seat, headrest, armrests, and footrest.

Designed for both home offices and professional workspaces, the Boulies EP600 aims to accommodate different sitting positions and body types. The company says the chair is suitable for users between 5 feet 5 inches and 6 feet 3 inches, with eight adjustment systems intended to help users find a more comfortable sitting position throughout the day.

Boulies EP600 Features 4D Adaptive Lumbar Support

The main feature of the EP600 ergonomic chair is its 4D Adaptive Lumbar Support Technology, which is designed to adjust to changes in sitting posture. Unlike a fixed lumbar support system, this mechanism allows the lower back support to move as users shift their position while working or reclining.

The lumbar support offers 5 cm of height adjustment, with locking options at its highest and lowest positions. Its depth can also move through a 40-degree range and be locked at 40 degrees for a more consistent level of support. These adjustments allow users to position the support according to their preferred sitting posture.

The EP600 ergonomic chair also features an adjustable backrest height and recline mechanism. Users can change the backrest position to suit different activities, whether they are concentrating on work, reading, or taking a break. Adjustable seat depth provides another way to improve thigh support, while the height adjustment helps users position their feet properly on the floor.

Adjustable Armrests, Headrest, and Footrest

Boulies has equipped the EP600 with 6D armrests that offer multiple directions of movement and 360-degree rotation. This design allows users to change the position of the armrests to suit different desk setups and working positions. The armrests can also fold flat when they are not needed, giving users more room to move around the chair.

The headrest supports both height and tilt adjustments, allowing users to change its position for different seating angles. An extendable footrest is also included, providing additional support for the legs when reclining. Together, these features give users more options for adjusting the chair to their preferred working or resting position.

The EP600’s eight adjustment systems cover lumbar support, backrest height, recline angle, seat depth, headrest position, armrests, footrest extension, and seat height. Rather than relying on a single ergonomic setting, the chair is designed to accommodate different body proportions and sitting habits.

Design, Pricing, and Availability

The Boulies EP600 ergonomic chair will be available in two colour options, Hybrid Mesh and Light Grey. The company has designed the chair to fit into different environments, including home offices, creative workspaces, and traditional office settings.

Boulies has listed the chair on its UK and US websites. Its recommended retail price is £429.99 in the UK and $489.99 in the US. At launch, the company is offering it for £374.99 and $409.99, respectively.

The EP600 ergonomic chair adds another option to the ergonomic chair market, with its main focus on adjustability and adaptive lower-back support. Its range of adjustments could appeal to people who spend extended periods at a desk and want more control over their seating position. However, actual comfort will depend on individual body proportions, desk setup, and personal preferences, so the chair’s real-world performance will ultimately determine how well its design translates into everyday use.
