Iqunix is preparing a special EV63 EDG Edition keyboard, made in honour of the esports team EDG and its Valorant roster. The company has confirmed the board, though a release date has not been shared yet.
The EDG team is known for its black and gold look. Iqunix says the colour accents on the EV63 EDG Edition went through five rounds of joint fine-tuning with the team before the design was finalised.
New timing synchronization system
The board debuts Timing Synchronization System (TSS) technology. It aligns the keyboard’s input processing with the PC’s USB polling cycle, which Iqunix says gives more consistent responses, lower latency and more predictable input.
To measure this, the company used its HyperCore v3.1 firmware. Internal testing shows actuation latency of 0.29 to 0.30 ms and release latency of 0.26 to 0.27 ms. These figures come from Iqunix’s own tests and have not been independently verified.
Specifications
The EV63 EDG Edition also includes the following:
8,000 Hz polling rate and 16,000 Hz scanning rate. Rapid Trigger sensitivity down to 0.01 mm. Smart Switch Adaptation, which automatically recognises 99% of mainstream Hall Effect switches and makes swapping switches easier. Magnetic X Ultra switches, built for stronger magnetic flux and better signal stability.

Lineup and pricing
The EDG Edition will be the sixth board in the EV63 range. Existing colourways include EV63 Violet, EV63 Silver Knight, EV63 Dark Knight, EV63 Ghost in the Shell Core and EV63 Ghost in the Shell Cyber Blue.
Pricing has not been confirmed. Most EV63 keyboards sell between $169 and $249, so the EDG Edition is expected to land in that range.
