Xeron C Lab Cases Get the Spotlight at Gamescom 2026

Xeron is showing that a PC case does not have to look like a plain metal box. At Gamescom 2026, the company displayed its Xeron C Lab cases, giving visitors a closer look at the unusual semi-open-air design in both black and white versions.

The cases were first introduced after Xeron made its debut at Computex earlier this year. Now, the company is using Gamescom to show how its C Lab range can look in complete gaming PC builds.

A Different Design for ATX Gaming PCs

The Xeron C Lab cases are full ATX mid-tower cases built around a distinctive open design. Instead of keeping the main hardware inside a traditional enclosed frame, Xeron uses curved sheet metal parts to suspend the motherboard section.

This gives the case a more exposed appearance while also making its internal components easier to see.

The design also uses visible brass screws, adding a more industrial touch. Xeron plans to offer replaceable panel materials and different color choices, allowing users to change the look of individual parts of the case.

Cooling Gets Its Own Space

Cooling is one of the more interesting parts of the C Lab design. Xeron has separated the case into different cooling areas so the CPU, GPU, and power supply can each get access to fresh air.

The case supports 280 mm and 360 mm CPU AIO coolers at the top. It can also fit graphics cards up to 405 mm long, giving builders plenty of room for large modern GPUs.

The power supply is placed behind the motherboard tray in its own compartment. It is hidden from the main view while still having a dedicated ventilation path.

Black and White Builds on Display

At Gamescom, Xeron showed the C Lab cases in both black and white builds. The two versions highlight the modular nature of the design while giving PC builders different options for matching their setups.

The semi-open structure also puts more attention on the hardware itself, which could appeal to users who want their PC to look more like a custom build than a standard gaming tower.

Xeron Is Expanding Its PC Hardware Line

The Xeron C Lab cases are part of Xeron’s wider push into the PC hardware market. The company launched its brand at Computex 2026 with a range of PC components and has continued adding new products.

At Gamescom 2026, Xeron also introduced its NEX-L360 ARGB AIO liquid coolers, giving the company another option for users building complete systems around its hardware.

For now, the C Lab cases stand out because of their unusual construction. Their combination of modular panels, separated cooling areas, large component support, and semi-open styling gives Xeron a different approach to the familiar ATX case.
