Not bad for a fortnight’s work. ZERO Sievert 2, the follow-up to Luca Carbonara’s solo-developed post-apocalyptic extraction shooter, has crossed 100,000 wishlists on Steam just two weeks after its reveal, confirmed in a new behind-the-scenes video from developer Underdog.
The original ZERO Sievert was a proper indie success story. Built by one person under the CABO Studio banner and published by Modern Wolf, it pulled in a million dollars in its first week of early access back in 2022. Hundreds of thousands of copies later, a sequel with a full team behind it feels like a natural next step.
What we know about Zero Sievert 2 so far
The team jumped into a Reddit AMA recently, and it was fairly generous with detail. The sequel is set several years after the first game, in the fictional Zakov region, a map that’s being made more open and seamless, particularly when moving between indoor and outdoor spaces. All weapons from ZS1 are reportedly returning.
Co-op is now part of the package, and the whole thing is being built with modding support from the ground up. Console ports and Steam Deck compatibility are long-term goals, not launch promises, which is at least honest.

The Steam page is live if you want to see the upgraded visuals, expanded skill trees, and reworked base-building for yourself.
