Marvel Rivals has pulled back the curtain on Season 8, and the roster is getting two very exciting additions. Cyclops and Devil Dinosaur are officially confirmed for the upcoming season, now carrying the subtitle Sins of Alchemax, with the first trailer dropping on 15th May 2026.
Alchemax takes centre stage in Marvel Rivals Season 8
The season’s narrative looks to be shaping up nicely. The trailer places Alchemax front and centre, showing Cyclops carving through waves of robotic enforcers using his trademark optic blasts, devastatingly powerful stuff that wouldn’t look out of place in a DC crossover.
Things take a dramatic turn when Cyclops spots Moon Girl buried in the rubble. In a moment that’s equal parts heroic and heartbreaking, he seemingly loses control, carving a crater around them both before finally relenting. The pair are then taken away, but that’s far from the end of the story.
Devil Dinosaur to the rescue
A charm pendant belonging to Devil Dinosaur starts chiming, signalling Moon Girl is in trouble. It looks like the big red prehistoric hero will be available from Season 8’s launch, with Cyclops likely following during the Season 8.5 update once his story arc concludes through Gallery Cards.
Marvel Rivals fans are already asking whether Moon Girl will get her own playable slot, given how inseparable she and Devil Dinosaur tend to be. More character details are expected soon, so keep an eye out.
