GameSir has introduced its new GameSir Tarantula 8K PC controller, giving competitive PC gamers a new option built for speed and accuracy. The controller is made only for PC and comes with a wired USB-C connection that offers an impressive 8000Hz polling rate. This helps reduce input delay, making every button press feel faster during gameplay.

The GameSir Tarantula 8K PC is available in a bright orange finish and is priced at $69.99 in the US and £79.99 in the UK through the official GameSir website. It is also expected to arrive on Amazon later.
One of the biggest highlights is the new Gen 2 Mag-Res TMR thumbsticks. These sticks use magnetic technology to provide smooth and accurate movement while helping prevent stick drift. Since there is less physical contact inside the sticks, they are also designed to last longer than traditional analog sticks.

GameSir has also included Hall Effect analog triggers with built-in trigger stops. Players can switch between full trigger movement for racing games or shorter, click-style pulls for shooting games where quick reactions matter. The controller also uses responsive micro switch ABXY buttons that offer a crisp click and fast response.

For gamers who like extra control, the Tarantula 8K PC comes with nine programmable buttons. These include rear buttons, extra shoulder buttons, and front buttons that can be customized with up to 32-step macros. This allows players to create shortcuts or complex commands for different games.
The GameSir Tarantula 8K PC controller also includes a six-axis gyroscope for motion controls in supported games. Using the GameSir Connect software, users can change button layouts, adjust stick sensitivity, fine-tune trigger settings, create custom profiles, and control the RGB lighting effects.
Despite offering many advanced features, the controller weighs only 180 grams. GameSir achieved this by removing the battery and vibration motors, making it lighter and more comfortable for long gaming sessions. The textured grips help provide a secure hold even during intense matches.

Other features include a tactile D-pad, adjustable turbo mode, onboard profile switching, trigger calibration, joystick dead zone adjustment, a 3.5mm headset jack, and a detachable USB-C cable.
The GameSir Tarantula 8K PC is now available and brings together high-speed performance, customizable controls, and a lightweight design for players looking to improve their competitive gaming experience.
