D-Link has introduced its new D-Link S Series, a lineup of affordable Wi-Fi routers and extenders aimed at people who want reliable internet without dealing with complicated network setups.
The new range is designed for everyday use, including web browsing, online classes, video calls, streaming, and remote work. D-Link says the S Series follows its idea of “Simple Internet Access, Secured by Default,” focusing on easy setup, basic performance, and better network security.

D-Link S Series Focuses on Everyday Wi-Fi
The D-Link S Series is built for users who do not need a high-end networking system but still want stable wireless coverage around their home.

The routers offer Ethernet ports for devices such as desktop PCs, smart TVs, game consoles, and other wired products. Users can also select different operating modes depending on how they want to use the router.
These include Router, Bridge, and Repeater modes. This means the same hardware can be used to create a new network, connect with an existing setup, or help extend wireless coverage.
Different Models for Different Homes
D-Link is offering the S Series as a tiered lineup, giving buyers several options based on their home size and networking needs.

The range also includes Wi-Fi extenders. These can be useful for homes where the main router does not provide strong coverage in every room. Instead of replacing the existing router, users can add an extender to help reach areas with weak signals.
This makes the lineup particularly relevant for students, first-time router buyers, and households looking for a more affordable networking upgrade.
Security Comes Built In
Affordable does not necessarily mean basic security. D-Link says the S Series supports WPA3 wireless encryption and Guest Network functionality.
The lineup also supports EN 18031 compliance, helping the products meet the latest European cybersecurity requirements for connected radio equipment.
D-Link is also making setup easier through its SetupGo App for iOS and Android. The app is designed to guide users through the network setup process without requiring advanced networking knowledge.
D-Link S Series Availability
The D-Link S Series is scheduled to begin rolling out through Amazon in Europe during August 2026. The full lineup is expected to become available across Europe, Australia, and Taiwan starting in September 2026.
D-Link says pricing will depend on the market, so the exact cost of each model may differ between regions.
With its focus on simple setup, useful security features, and affordable hardware, the D-Link S Series could be a practical option for users who simply want dependable home Wi-Fi without paying for features they may never use.
