ATTACK SHARK is preparing to launch the R5 TURBO, a new flagship wireless gaming mouse designed for players who want fast response times, accurate tracking, and a lightweight design. The new model builds on the R5 ULTRA with upgraded internal hardware, dual 8K polling support, and a fresh Dune color option alongside black and white.
The ATTACK SHARK R5 TURBO is set to launch on October 23, 2026. It combines a high-end optical sensor, a new Nordic processor, and three connection options to meet the needs of competitive gamers.

ATTACK SHARK R5 TURBO Features a Lightweight Carbon Fiber Design
The R5 TURBO uses an injection-molded carbon fiber composite shell and weighs around 43 grams, with a small weight variation of approximately 3 grams. Its hollow design helps keep the mouse light while maintaining its structure for regular use.
ATTACK SHARK has also added a cool-touch coating to the outer shell. This finish is designed to reduce the sticky feeling caused by sweaty hands during long gaming sessions.
The mouse will be available in three colors: black, white, and the new Dune finish.
60,000 DPI Sensor and Dual 8K Polling Rate
At the heart of the ATTACK SHARK R5 TURBO is the PixArt PAW3950MAX optical sensor. It supports DPI settings from 1,200 to 60,000, with adjustments in 50-DPI steps. The sensor can track movement at speeds of up to 750 IPS and handle acceleration up to 60G.
Players can also choose between three lift-off distance settings to adjust how the mouse behaves when lifted from the mouse pad.
One of the biggest upgrades is the Nordic nRF54LM20 processor, replacing the nRF54L15 used in the previous generation. The new chip enables an 8,000 Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes. According to ATTACK SHARK’s internal testing, wireless click latency can reach as low as 0.168 milliseconds.
The processor also supports static scan frame rates above 20,000 FPS in competitive mode. ATTACK SHARK says it offers better power efficiency and generates less heat.
Triple Connectivity and Long Battery Life
The R5 TURBO supports wired USB, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth connections. This gives users the freedom to switch between gaming and everyday computer use.
It also comes with ATTACK SHARK’s shark-fin-inspired 8K wireless receiver. The receiver uses an extended antenna design to improve signal strength and includes three LED indicators for connection mode, polling rate, and battery status.
Inside the mouse, a 290 mAh high-density battery provides up to 300 hours of use under standard 1K polling conditions. Battery life will vary depending on settings and usage.
Other features include Omron optical switches rated for more than 100 million clicks and a scroll wheel with TTC Golden Wheel encoders. The wheel also has a custom electroplated finish for a more refined look and feel.
ATTACK SHARK will provide software with cloud-based configuration and a standalone download option. Users can adjust DPI, polling rate, and other supported settings to suit their preferences.
ATTACK SHARK R5 TURBO Release Date
The ATTACK SHARK R5 TURBO will launch on October 23, 2026. Pricing and regional availability have not been confirmed in the provided announcement.
With its 43-gram body, 60,000 DPI sensor, dual 8K polling support, and three connection modes, the R5 TURBO brings several upgrades over the R5 ULTRA. Its real-world performance, comfort, and battery life will be worth checking once independent reviews become available.
