The ARC Raiders PvE test is over, and the mode is gone from the game for now. Embark Studios has removed all PvE content, with a final call on its future set for November.
In a blog post, Embark confirmed the limited-time PvE matchmaking toggle has ended. The studio thanked players for taking part and said the test produced more than 30 million rounds of PvE. That is a large pool of data, so the team says it needs a short period to go through the numbers and pull out the key points.
Embark described the mode as “polarizing”, which suggests the feedback is far from one-sided. It was always billed as a temporary test, but players who enjoyed it now have no way to keep playing it.

What happens next with ARC Raiders
A survey is due in the coming days. Embark says it will go to a “representative sample” of ARC Raiders players, adding player opinion to the usage data.
The studio has not said whether ARC Raiders PvE will return, change or be dropped. That decision is expected in November.
The 2.2.0 update also went live today. It brings a set of bug fixes and improvements based on recent patches, and the full details are in Embark’s update post.
