Attack Shark has introduced its new Attack Shark R86 HE Carbon Fiber Magnetic Switch Gaming Keyboard, bringing a premium carbon fiber design together with magnetic switches and fast gaming features.
The new keyboard is set to launch on September 7, 2026. It uses a compact 75% layout with 82 keys, making it smaller than a full-size keyboard while still keeping dedicated arrow keys and other useful controls.
The Attack Shark R86 HE is aimed at gamers who want more than just fast response times. Attack Shark is also focusing on build quality, typing sound and customization with this model.

Carbon Fiber Design in a Compact Layout
One of the biggest highlights of the Attack Shark R86 HE is its construction. The keyboard uses a carbon fiber composite top case, paired with anodized CNC-machined aluminum side sections.
This gives the keyboard a high-end appearance while keeping the overall design compact. Its 75% layout is also practical for gaming setups where desk space is limited.
The keyboard comes with carbon fiber composite keycaps, which are designed to provide a consistent feel during fast key presses.
0.005 mm Rapid Trigger for Fast Gaming
For competitive FPS players, the keyboard’s magnetic switch system is one of its most important features.
Attack Shark claims the R86 HE can deliver 0.005 mm Rapid Trigger accuracy, allowing very small changes in key movement to be detected. This can be useful for quick movement actions such as counter-strafing in competitive shooters.
The keyboard also uses a custom esports chipset with 256K scanning and an 8000 Hz polling rate. According to Attack Shark, response times can go as low as 0.08 ms.
These specifications put the R86 HE firmly in the high-performance gaming keyboard category.
Five Layers of Sound Dampening
Attack Shark has also paid attention to how the keyboard sounds while typing.
The R86 HE uses a five-layer acoustic setup consisting of PE foam, IXPE switch pads, PET acoustic film, switch socket foam and silicone padding. The goal is to reduce unwanted noise and vibration inside the keyboard.
A fiberglass positioning plate is included to add stability and improve the feel of each keystroke.
The keyboard also uses Huano Glass Jade magnetic switches, which are designed to combine quick response with a sharper and cleaner typing sound.
Plenty of Customization Options
The Attack Shark R86 HE is not locked to a single setup. It supports multiple high-performance magnetic switches and allows users to adjust the switch curve independently.
This means gamers can fine-tune how their keys respond based on their preferred play style.
The keyboard also includes full-key RGB lighting and dynamic light strips on both sides. Users can control key mapping, switch settings and other options through web-based and PC software.
Attack Shark R86 HE Release Date
Attack Shark plans to launch the Attack Shark R86 HE Carbon Fiber Magnetic Switch Gaming Keyboard on September 7, 2026.
With its carbon fiber construction, compact 75% layout, magnetic switches, 8000 Hz polling and Rapid Trigger technology, the R86 HE looks like a serious option for gamers who want a premium keyboard without moving to a larger layout.
The combination of performance-focused features and a more premium build could also help it stand out in an increasingly crowded magnetic gaming keyboard market.
