Beats has introduced the Beats 360, its new flagship over-ear headphone and the company’s first model to offer interchangeable ear and headband cushions. The new headphones combine a customizable design with improved sound, stronger noise cancellation, and features for both Apple and Android users.
Priced at $349.99 in the US, Beats 360 is available to order now through Apple in the US and more than 100 countries and regions. Retail availability starts September 24.

Beats 360 offers a customizable design
The biggest change with the Beats 360 is the ability to change both the ear cushions and headband cushion. The headphones come with Performance Knit cushions, while additional cushion kits can be purchased separately.
The Performance Knit option uses memory foam covered with breathable knit material. Beats says the design is made for stability and active use. Users can choose from Black, Cloud, Pink, Sky, Navy, and Volt colors.

There is also an UltraPlush option in Black and Cloud. These cushions use engineered leather and are designed for longer listening sessions.
The headphones have a balanced fit design that spreads their weight more evenly across the head. Beats has also moved to a wireless-first headband design, giving the company more space to focus on comfort.
Beats 360 is also the first over-ear Beats headphone to feature an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance. It can handle moisture, rain, and heat during everyday use.
Improved sound and stronger ANC
Beats has built the Beats 360 around a new acoustic platform with custom drivers. Each driver uses a three-layer diaphragm and dual neodymium magnets to deliver strong bass and detailed sound.
Active Noise Cancelling is another major feature. Beats says its latest ANC system provides up to 1.75 times more total noise cancellation than the Beats Studio Pro.
Transparency mode is included for situations where users need to hear their surroundings. Adaptive EQ also adjusts the sound based on the fit of the headphones.

The Beats 360 supports Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking and Dolby Atmos. Sensors inside the headphones track head movement to create a more immersive experience when listening to supported content.
Long battery life and Apple and Android support
Beats 360 offers up to 32 hours of battery life with Adaptive EQ when ANC and Transparency mode are turned off. Beats also claims up to 32 hours with ANC and Personalized Spatial Audio enabled.
USB-C charging is supported, while the Fast Fuel feature can provide up to one hour of playback after a five-minute charge.
The headphones use Bluetooth 5.3 with Class 1 connectivity and a custom Beats chip. Apple users get features such as one-touch pairing, Automatic Switching, Audio Sharing, Hey Siri, Find My, and Personalized Spatial Audio.
Android users also get features including Fast Pair, Audio Switch, and Find Hub.
For calls, Beats 360 has nine digital MEMS microphones. The microphone system is designed to focus on the user’s voice while reducing surrounding noise.
Beats 360 price and availability
Beats 360 costs $349.99 in the US and is available in Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky. Each standard package includes matching Performance Knit ear and headband cushions.
The additional Beats 360 Cushion Kits are available in several Performance Knit colors, along with Black and Cloud UltraPlush versions.

For a limited time, customers in selected markets can buy the cushion kits for $9.99, compared with the regular $49.99 price in the US. Beats has also reduced the price of the Beats Studio Pro to $299.99 alongside the new launch.
The Beats 360 combines a premium over-ear design with interchangeable cushions, advanced ANC, long battery life, and support for both Apple and Android devices. The customizable cushion system also gives the new headphones a more personal touch than previous Beats over-ear models.
