NZXT has launched its new NZXT S5 RGB and S5 RGB Deluxe ATX mid tower cases, bringing a clean look, dual tempered glass panels, and RGB cooling to a more affordable price range. The new cases are designed for PC builders who want a modern-looking system without moving to a large full tower case.
The NZXT S5 RGB starts at $49.99, while the S5 RGB Deluxe costs $59.99. Both models use the same compact steel chassis and offer the same space for hardware. The main difference is the cooling included with each model.
NZXT S5 RGB offers a clean glass design
The NZXT S5 RGB features tempered glass on the front and left side, giving users a wide view of the components inside the PC. The main frame is made from steel, while the right side uses a steel mesh panel to help bring fresh air into the case.
A 360 mm single frame RGB reverse fan comes pre-installed on the right side. The reverse blade design allows the cleaner-looking side of the fan to face the glass, helping the finished build look more polished.
The case supports ATX, microATX, and Mini ITX motherboards. It also offers up to 415 mm of graphics card clearance and up to 162 mm of CPU cooler clearance.
For cooling, the NZXT S5 RGB supports up to 10 fans. A radiator of up to 360 mm can be installed at the top, while the rear supports a 120 mm radiator. The bottom fan mounts are also positioned to direct airflow toward the graphics card.
NZXT has included removable mesh filters at the top and bottom. The panels can also be removed without tools, making it easier to install components or upgrade the system later.
The front I/O includes one USB-C port, two USB-A ports, and a headset jack.
S5 RGB Deluxe adds more cooling
The S5 RGB Deluxe uses the same chassis as the standard NZXT S5 RGB, but it comes with additional fans already installed.
Along with the 360 mm single frame RGB reverse fan on the side, the Deluxe model includes a 120 mm RGB reverse fan at the bottom and a 120 mm RGB fan at the rear.
The side and bottom fans use reverse blades, while the rear fan uses a standard blade design. NZXT says the additional fans are installed and wired before the case reaches the customer.
Apart from the extra cooling, the S5 RGB Deluxe keeps the same dimensions, motherboard support, GPU clearance, radiator support, and front I/O as the standard model.

The NZXT S5 RGB measures 482 x 210 x 423 mm and has a 42.8-liter volume. The case weighs 6.14 kg.

The NZXT S5 RGB and S5 RGB Deluxe are available from authorized retailers starting September 22, 2026. Both models are offered in black and white.
