Cougar Unveils LQX PRO and LQX Elite AIO Coolers With Smart New Features

Cougar has introduced two new high end all in one liquid CPU coolers, the LQX PRO and LQX Elite. Both models are built around a 360 mm radiator and are aimed at users who want strong cooling with a more modern look.

The LQX PRO stands out with a large 3.95 inch square IPS display built into its pump block. The screen has a 720 x 720 resolution, a 60 Hz refresh rate and up to 350 nits of brightness. It connects to the PC through USB and works with Cougar’s Vision software, allowing users to view system information on the display.

Cougar has also added a small 60 mm fan inside the pump block. This fan pushes air around the CPU socket and can help keep nearby motherboard parts, including the VRM and upper M.2 NVMe slot, cooler.

For radiator cooling, the LQX PRO comes with three 120 mm VRX120-FB fans. They use fluid dynamic bearings and can reach speeds of up to 2,500 RPM. Cougar rates each fan for up to 65.2 CFM of airflow and 4.35 mm H₂O of static pressure, with noise reaching up to 33 dBA.

The LQX Elite keeps the same basic cooler design but takes a simpler approach. Instead of the LCD screen, it uses a silicone ARGB diffuser for lighting. It also removes the small fan inside the pump block, making it the more straightforward option of the two.

At launch, both the LQX PRO and LQX Elite are available with a 360 mm x 120 mm radiator. Cougar has not yet announced pricing or availability details.

With the LQX series, Cougar is giving PC builders two different ways to upgrade their cooling setup. The LQX PRO focuses more on monitoring and extra airflow around the CPU socket, while the LQX Elite offers a cleaner ARGB design without those added features.
