Pearl Abyss has released Crimson Desert update 1.05.00 across all platforms, Mac App Store aside, which will follow later, and it’s one of the beefier patches the game has seen since launch.
Crimson Desert endgame gets a lifeline
The headline additions are two new systems aimed squarely at players who’ve been bumping up against the endgame ceiling. Boss Rematches let you return to any previous encounter and fight it again using any of the three playable characters, Kliff, Oongka, or Damiane. You can either replay the fight as it was originally, or scale the boss to match your current progression. 69 bosses are available from the off, with more expected in future patches.

Alongside that, Reblockades bring enemy occupation back to 23 forts and quarries across Pywel. You can set the frequency to Stable, Conflict, or War depending on how much chaos you want in your world.
Everything else
Beyond the headliners, 1.05.00 is a proper kitchen-sink update. A new disguise shop has been added, two legendary animals, Iron Eagle and Hyacinth Macaw, can now be kept as pets, and PS5 and Xbox Series players get a new sharpness enhancement option in the graphics menu.
Hundreds of bug fixes round it out, covering combat, controls, UI, and visual polish across the board.
