Darksiders 4 and New Kingdom Come land in FY 2027/28

Darksiders 4 and Kingdom Come game details
Embracer's Q1 report quietly confirms release windows for Darksiders 4 and the next Kingdom Come game, both landing in FY 2027/28.

Embracer just dropped a release window for two games fans have been chasing scraps of info on for ages, and it’s buried in a financial report rather than a flashy trailer. Classic.

Darksiders 4 and the next Kingdom Come game are both pencilled in for FY 2027/2028, according to Embracer’s Q1 interim report for FY2026/27. Page 11 lays out the publishing and development schedule for everything the company has announced so far. Darksiders 4 gets a proper platform list too, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5, while the new Kingdom Come entry is listed without platforms but shares the same window.

That’s a fair wait, but at least it’s confirmation the games are actually moving forward. The last real update on Kingdom Come’s next chapter came from Warhorse Studios themselves, alongside their LOTR open-world RPG reveal, followed by a spotted trademark that may have given away the title already.

What else is on Embracer’s schedule

The same report lines up a busy stretch either side of these two. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 is up first in December 2026, with Stag Tour pegged for holiday 2026. February 2027 is Embracer’s big month, packing in both Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and Metro 2039. Tomb Raider: Catalyst follows later, landing in CY 2028.

Rounding things out are two remasters without dates yet, Deus Ex Remastered and Thief: The Dark Project Remastered. No word on when those are coming, so don’t hold your breath just yet.
