TerraMaster F4-425 Pro AI-native NAS launched with Intel N350, dual 5GbE, 16GB DDR5 RAM, smart AI tools, and speeds up to 1010 MB/s.

TerraMaster has officially introduced its new TerraMaster F4-425 Pro NAS, a four-bay storage solution designed for creators, businesses, developers, and home users. The new model arrives with the company’s latest TOS 7 operating system, which TerraMaster describes as the world’s first AI-native NAS platform.

The TerraMaster F4-425 Pro is scheduled to launch globally on June 23 and will be available during Amazon Prime Day with a limited-time 20% discount. Other TerraMaster NAS and DAS products will also be included in the promotion.

A New AI-Powered Storage Experience

Unlike traditional NAS devices that often require manual setup and technical knowledge, the TerraMaster F4-425 Pro focuses on simplicity through AI-powered controls. Users can manage storage, create folders, deploy applications, and configure settings using natural language commands.

The company says the new TOS 7 operating system allows users to interact with the NAS through conversational prompts, making everyday tasks easier and faster.

Powered by Intel N350 Processor

The TerraMaster F4-425 Pro is equipped with an Intel N350 processor featuring eight cores and a low 7W power draw. It also comes with 16GB of DDR5 memory and dual 5GbE network ports.

Using link aggregation, the NAS can reach transfer speeds of up to 1010 MB/s. This performance makes it suitable for handling 4K and 8K video editing, large file transfers, virtual machines, and Docker containers.

TOS 7 Brings AI Features to NAS

The biggest highlight of the new system is TOS 7. The operating system includes more than 500 modular APIs, giving developers and AI applications deeper access to NAS functions.

TOS 7 also supports natural language conversations, automated workflows, and local AI processing. Features such as photo recognition, file organization, and content analysis run directly on the NAS without sending user data to external servers.

OpenClaw AI Assistant Simplifies Management

One of the standout features is the OpenClaw AI assistant. Users can simply ask the system to perform tasks such as creating shared folders, setting permissions, or scheduling backups.

TerraMaster says this removes the need to learn complicated commands and helps users manage their storage more efficiently.

Built-In Security and Backup Protection

The F4-425 Pro includes several data protection features. These include ransomware detection, immutable storage protection, and automated 3-2-1-0 backup support.

If suspicious file activity is detected, the system can automatically lock folders, protect snapshots, and send alerts to users.

Designed for Different Types of Users

The new NAS is aimed at a wide range of users.

Creative professionals can edit high-resolution video files directly from the NAS using its high-speed network connection. Small businesses can manage backups and user permissions through simple commands. Developers can automate deployment tasks and run virtual machines, while home users can create a private media library with AI-powered photo organization.

Flexible Storage Expansion

The F4-425 Pro supports TerraMaster’s TRAID technology, allowing users to combine drives of different capacities and expand storage without moving existing data.

Additional features include TerraSync for real-time file synchronization across devices, cloud backup support for OneDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox, as well as built-in Docker and virtual machine support.

TerraMaster F4-425 Pro Availability

The TerraMaster F4-425 Pro will be available globally starting June 23. Customers can also take advantage of Prime Day discounts, with savings of up to 25% available across selected TerraMaster storage products.
