Xiaomi Redmi Book 14 2027 arrives on October 27 with an Intel Core 5 320 CPU, 2.8K display, 72Wh battery and up to 20.2 hours of office use.

Xiaomi has confirmed exciting upgrades for the Xiaomi Redmi Book 14 2027, including a new Intel processor, a high-resolution display and a large battery designed for longer working hours. The upcoming laptop is set to launch in China on October 27, bringing a fresh update to Xiaomi’s Redmi Book lineup.

The new model will use Intel’s Wildcat Lake Core Series 3 platform. Xiaomi has also confirmed a 2.8K display and a 72Wh battery, making the laptop an interesting option for people who want a portable machine for work, study and everyday tasks.

Xiaomi Redmi Book 14 2027 Gets Intel Core 5 320

The Xiaomi Redmi Book 14 2027 will feature the Intel Core 5 320 processor, based on Intel’s Wildcat Lake platform. The new chip is expected to focus on a balance between performance and power efficiency, although Xiaomi has not yet shared detailed benchmark results.

The laptop will also use LPDDR5X memory running at 7467 MT/s. Xiaomi has confirmed that a 16GB memory version will be available, but other memory options have not been fully revealed yet.

The display is another key upgrade. Xiaomi has confirmed a 2.8K resolution panel, which should provide sharp text and clear images for office work, web browsing and watching videos. However, the company has not confirmed whether the screen uses IPS, OLED or another panel technology.

72Wh Battery Promises More Than 20 Hours of Use

Battery life is one of the main features Xiaomi is promoting. The Redmi Book 14 2027 packs a 72Wh battery, with the company claiming up to 20.2 hours of office use under its testing conditions.

Xiaomi also claims that the laptop can play locally stored videos for around 1.26 days. These figures come from the company’s own tests, so actual battery life will depend on screen brightness, workload, software settings and other factors.

The laptop will have a built-in fingerprint reader positioned above the keyboard, offering a convenient way to sign in. Official product images also show a soft pink colour option and a clean design with rounded corners and edges.

Despite its slim appearance, the laptop appears to retain a useful selection of ports. These include two USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports, a full-size HDMI port and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. At least one USB Type-C port is expected to handle charging.

Launch Date and Expected Price

Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Book 14 2027 in China on October 27 at 7 PM local time, alongside its Redmi K100 series announcement. The Redmi Book 16 is also expected to join the launch, although Xiaomi has not confirmed every detail of the larger model.

Pricing and international availability remain unknown. For comparison, the previous Redmi Book 14 started at 6,499 yuan with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This is the price of the older model, not the confirmed price of the 2027 version.

With its new Intel processor, 2.8K display and large battery, the Xiaomi Redmi Book 14 2027 looks like a promising update for users who need a laptop for everyday productivity. More details about its price, full specifications and availability should become clear at the official launch.
