Tronsmart has introduced a new pair of wireless earbuds called the OpenFly Clip 2. These earbuds follow an open-ear design and are built for users who want comfort, safety, and stable wear during daily use or physical activity.
Instead of sitting inside the ear canal, the OpenFly Clip 2 uses a clip-on structure that rests around the ear. This allows users to listen to music while still hearing what is happening around them. It makes the earbuds suitable for outdoor use such as jogging or cycling.

Despite the open design, the company has focused on sound quality. The earbuds support LDAC, which helps deliver better audio detail compared to basic wireless codecs. They also carry Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification. Inside, the earbuds use an 11 mm dynamic driver with a dual-magnetic setup, designed to provide clear sound with noticeable bass. The built-in SoundPulse tuning further helps balance the overall audio output.
The design is made with comfort in mind. A mix of soft silicone and flexible titanium wire allows the earbuds to adjust to the shape of the ear. This helps them stay in place without causing discomfort, even during long listening sessions. The design also avoids bulky ear hooks, making it easier to wear them alongside glasses.

For controls, physical buttons are used instead of touch panels. This reduces unwanted inputs, especially during workouts. The outer finish includes a metallic texture, giving the earbuds a more refined look.
Battery performance is solid for this category. Users can expect up to 8 hours of playback from a single charge, while the charging case extends total usage to around 32 hours. This should be enough for regular daily use.
The earbuds are also equipped with dual microphones and noise reduction for clearer calls. They support dual-device connection, allowing users to stay connected to two devices at once. Through the companion app, users can adjust sound settings and customise controls.
Tronsmart OpenFly Clip 2 earbuds pricing and availability
