The hype is real. Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has surpassed one million wishlists across all platforms, and it’s only been a week since the game was officially unveiled at the dedicated Black Flag Resynced Showcase.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Game Overview Trailer
A million in seven days
Clocking a million wishlists in seven days is no small feat, but given the fanbase’s long-standing love for the original Black Flag, it’s hard to call it a surprise either. The reveal clearly landed well, and the numbers back that up.
The remake is currently set to launch on 9th July 2026.
More than just a remaster
Ubisoft has been clear that Black Flag Resynced isn’t a simple coat of paint. The combat has been reworked into a more action-oriented experience, and the tailing missions, a long-standing frustration for many players, have been significantly revamped.
Fans of the classic AC formula will also be relieved to hear that this isn’t going the RPG route. Ubisoft confirmed the remake will retain its character-driven approach rather than following the direction of recent entries in the series.

Those after the full package can also opt for the Collector’s Edition, which comes with an Edward Kenway statue among other extras.
With a July release just around the corner, the momentum is only going to build from here.
